Mum, looks like the big parade ground at Bardia, but not enough background to say yay or nay for sure. If it is, then you were not facing the Flagstaff but facing south toward Campbelltown.

There would have been a 25 mtr range about 400 mtr to your right (as you face in the pic) and the Canteen was to your left rear.

So who's the dorky sheila behind you with her wrist cocked like a sidchrome spanner and why is your left fist not in the correct position? :-P

Looking good Rob, are you sure you and the Ptn didn't get their Greens altered by a tailor/dressmaker, as P&B said "looking good", in the baggyarse uniform, now that is hard to pull off.

I once heard a female TV personality say after a publicity stunt dressed as a soldier in greens that the real reason behind the ill fitting uniform was that it stopped any of the male soldiers thinking about fraternization....!!
